As a supporter of Sailors’ Society since we launched Latitude Brokers, we are raising money for them, for the third year in a row, by hiking 28kms across Hong Kong Island at the Ambassadors’ Trek in October 2017. In addition, we are on the organizing committee for the first time this year, so we are hoping for an excellent turnout and record-breaking fundraising for the Sailors’ Society.

 

As part of this effort, we are donating 10% of our income on new business placed in October 2017 to the Sailors’ Society – so we’re giving time, energy and money to this excellent cause! We hope our clients will support this initiative and look forward to raising a lot of money for Sailors’ Society to continue their critical support around the world.

About the Sailors’ Society

Sailors’ Society is an international Christian charity working in ports across the world. Our chaplains help seafarers and their families, from all faiths and none, with welfare and practical support. We visit ships in ports and talk with seafarers away from home for up to a year at a time; we help them get in touch with much missed loved ones and access medical treatment; we liaise with frightened families when seafarers are kidnapped by terrorists or imprisoned, mostly through no fault of their own; and we build homes and schools and provide grants to bring hope and security to seafaring communities.
