Andrew Brooker
Andrew has 30 years’ experience in marine insurance, including claims, technical resources, client servicing and broking. He has worked in London, Singapore and Hong Kong in firms that span law, cargo recovery and broking. Andrew was on the board of a Lloyd’s broker from 2007 until 2013. His experience involves managing a wide range of clients in the marine sector, including commodity traders; ship operators and charterers; ports and terminals operators, bunker suppliers and other marine industry professionals. Andrew also manages the placement of marine reinsurance programs in the region.

Vanessa Toucas
Vanessa has been working in Hong Kong for 20 years in claims and broking positions, focusing on hull and machinery, P&I and Charterer’s Liability insurance for ship operating clients. She was previously head of shipping for a Lloyd’s broker in Hong Kong and has travelled extensively, working with clients throughout Asia. Vanessa has a Master’s degree in marine law from Lille University in France.

Matt Cannock
Matt heads up Latitude office in Singapore, where he has been based for over 20 years. Matt started his career in London with a Lloyds broker, and after moving to Singapore he joined the Underwriting side. Matt worked for 15 years on the Lloyd’s Asia platform with various Syndicate, as Marine Underwriter and Managing Director for Asia. Matt has a Masters Degree in Marine Engineering from UCL and was Asia Pac Managing Director for a renowned Loss Adjuster/Warranty surveyor prior to joining Latitude.
