Continuing for the 4th year with what is now an industry tradition, West of England and Latitude Brokers hosted festive drinks with industry partners to raise funds in support of Feeding Hong Kong. P&I Clubs, lawyers, surveyors, brokers gathered in a casual and friendly spirit on 13 December around the West of England’s Christmas tree, to share a glass or two, but most importantly as we get into the excesses of the season holidays, to raise money in support of the work undertaken by Feeding Hong Kong. This year, we have broken our record, and collected HKD24,170 in one evening

Feeding Hong Kong is Hong Kong only foodbank: since 2011, they have rescued over 2,700 tonnes of food and connected with over 200 food companies. That’s over 6.4 million meals that have gone to feed people not landfills. This food is distributed to over 100 amazing charities running food assistance programmes across the city. They include shelters for the homeless, refuge centres, senior day centres, children’s homes and other non-profit programmes that provide food to the hungry.
